Privacy Policy
The short version
- Amino AI is a local-first app. Your vials, protocols, doses, injection sites, side effects and notes are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
- There is no account and no cloud sync. We cannot see, recover, or restore your data.
- Analytics are off by default. If you opt in, we receive anonymous usage events only, and never substance names, doses, sites, symptoms or notes.
- Subscriptions are handled by Apple, Google and Adapty. We do not receive your payment details.
- On aminoaiapp.com, the only personal data we collect is the email you choose to give us for the waitlist.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Super Human Digital LLC, a United States company, handles information in connection with:
- the Amino AI mobile application for iOS and Android (the “App”), and
- the website aminoaiapp.com, including the early-access waitlist (the “Site”).
Amino AI is a peptide calculator and tracker. It is a tool, not a medical device and not a healthcare provider. It does not recommend doses, protocols or substances; it performs calculations on values you enter and organizes what you record. Nothing in the App or on the Site is medical advice.
2. Information the App stores on your device
When you use the App, you may enter information about your protocol, such as substances, vial presentations (strength, diluent, reconstitution volume, syringe scale), calculated volumes, doses you have logged and when, injection sites, side effects or symptoms, reminder times, and free-text notes. Some of this may be considered health data.
All of this information is stored in a local database on your device only. It is not uploaded to us or to any server we control, it is not tied to an account, and it is not synced between devices. We have no technical ability to access it. If you delete the App or use Delete all data in Settings, it is permanently removed from the device. Standard device backups (for example iCloud or Google backup) may include App data according to your device settings, which you control.
Local dose reminders are scheduled by the App on your device using the operating system’s notification service. Reminder content is generated and kept locally; it is not sent to us. You can turn reminders off in Settings or in your device’s notification settings.
If you use the App’s export or share feature, a file containing your data is created on your device and handed to the app or destination you choose. Where it goes from there is governed by that destination’s privacy practices.
3. Information the App sends over the network
The App is designed to work offline. It makes network requests only for the following limited purposes.
3.1 Substance reference list
On start-up the App may download a read-only reference list of substances (names, categories, general information) so that the list can be kept up to date. This request contains no personal data and no information about what you track; it is a plain file download. Like any web request, it exposes your IP address to the hosting provider (currently GitHub Pages, operated by GitHub, Inc.) in its standard server logs.
3.2 Subscriptions and purchases (Amino AI Pro)
Optional paid features are sold as an in-app subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies; we never receive your card number, billing address or app-store account credentials.
To verify subscriptions across app installs, and to configure which onboarding and paywall screens are shown, we use Adapty (Adapty Tech Inc.). Adapty receives an anonymous, randomly generated profile identifier, your purchase and subscription status (product, price tier, renewal and expiry dates, store transaction identifiers), and basic device information (platform, OS version, App version, locale, time zone). Adapty may also assign you to a variant of an onboarding or paywall experiment (for example a different layout or price shown) and record whether you viewed or purchased; this is keyed to the same anonymous identifier. We do not create a named profile for you: Adapty does not receive your name, email, contact details or any of the data you track in the App, and the answers you give during onboarding stay on your device. See Adapty’s privacy policy.
3.3 Optional analytics and crash reporting
Product analytics are disabled by default. If you enable them in Settings, the App sends a small set of anonymous product events (for example “app opened”, “onboarding completed”, “calculator used”, “dose logged”, “paywall viewed”) to an analytics provider (such as PostHog or Amplitude) together with technical context such as platform, OS version and App version. Similarly, crash reports (for example via Sentry) may include a stack trace, device model, OS version and App version so we can fix bugs.
Every event passes through an allow-list filter before it leaves the device. Substance names, doses, volumes, injection sites, side effects, notes and any other health data are never included, regardless of your analytics setting. Events are keyed to a random installation identifier, not to your name, email or advertising identifier. You can switch analytics off at any time in Settings; doing so stops further events immediately.
We do not use advertising SDKs, do not show third-party ads, and do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Information collected on aminoaiapp.com
4.1 Waitlist
If you join the early-access waitlist we store your email address, the time you signed up, the page you came from (referrer), and a coarse country code derived by our hosting provider. We do not store your IP address or browser details with your signup.
Waitlist entries are stored on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) infrastructure and mirrored to Kit (Kit.com, formerly ConvertKit), the service we use to send email. We use your email only to tell you about Amino AI early access, launch and product updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to delete your entry at any time by writing to apps@superhd.co.
4.2 Hosting and technical data
The Site is served through Cloudflare, which processes visitors’ IP addresses and request metadata to deliver the Site securely and to protect against abuse. Cloudflare may retain aggregated, short-lived logs under its privacy policy. The Site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google when the page loads. See Google’s privacy policy.
The Site does not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers or social-media pixels. Any cookies present are strictly necessary ones set by Cloudflare for security purposes.
5. Summary of data and purposes

6. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract — processing needed to deliver the App, verify subscriptions and provide features you request.
- Consent — optional analytics and crash reporting (which you can withdraw at any time in Settings), and the waitlist emails you sign up for (withdraw by unsubscribing).
- Legitimate interests — keeping the Site and App secure, preventing abuse, and fixing defects, in ways that do not override your rights.
We never process the health data you enter into the App, because it does not leave your device. We therefore do not rely on any legal basis for it; it remains under your sole control.
7. How long we keep data
- App data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Waitlist data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we close the waitlist, after which we delete or anonymize it within 90 days.
- Analytics events, when enabled, are retained by the provider for up to 24 months and then deleted or aggregated.
- Subscription records are kept for as long as needed to honor your subscription and meet accounting and legal obligations.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information and do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Because of how Amino AI is built, most of these rights are in your hands directly:
- Access and portability — everything you have entered is on your device; use Export in Settings to obtain a copy.
- Deletion — use Delete all data in Settings, or uninstall the App.
- Analytics — toggle off in Settings at any time.
- Waitlist — use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us to have your entry deleted.
- Subscriptions — manage or cancel in your Apple or Google account settings.
For anything else, email apps@superhd.co. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your request. We do not charge a fee for exercising your rights.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers (Cloudflare, Kit, Adapty, analytics providers, GitHub, Google) may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers from the EEA, UK or Switzerland rely on the providers’ Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved safeguards.
10. Security
Your App data is protected by your device’s own security (passcode, biometrics and encryption at rest, as configured by you). Our Site and services use HTTPS/TLS in transit, access to the waitlist database is limited to authorized personnel, and API keys for third-party services are stored as encrypted secrets, not in code. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data we will notify you as required by law.
11. Children
Amino AI is intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links and services
The App and Site may link to third-party sites and services (for example the App Store, Google Play, X). Their privacy practices are their own; please review their policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves, for example if we add a new provider or feature. We will post the new version at aminoaiapp.com/privacy and update the effective date above. For material changes we will also notify you in the App or by email where we have it.
